The Last Word!
I hope you’re not bumfuzzled by this (confused), and I promise to be good and not use billingsgate (coarse language). I don’t do that anyway, because if I do, it gives me the collywobbles (an upset tummy)!
About my love for gin and tonic: I am actually careful about that, or I might wake up with a bothersome katzenjammer. This is a hangover that in olden times was known as “The Cat’s Misery,” and believe me, it was and it is. If that does happen, I will likely become an Ill-Willie (someone with an unfriendly disposition). So that is pretty much a sockdolager (something that settles the argument).
As you might guess, because I’m a cat, I’m noctivigant, (night-wondering), and I’m also solivagant, which means I like to ramble alone. Of course, my human worries about me and guards the door to keep me from getting out. This often causes me to experience saeva indignatio, which is the feeling of contempt that all cats have for human folly. She even throws pillows at me, the innocent flingee (one at whom a pillow is flung). My usual response is to cachinnate (laugh loudly). However, I admit that I do have some peccability here (capability of sin).
As I’m sure you’ve noticed, I am scripturient, which means that I have a strong urge to write, so you’ll be hearing from me again next month.
